Leadership and Advisory Boards
The Research and Engagement for Action on Climate and Health (REACH) Center is led by an experienced leadership group that builds capacity across the Center to enable research on climate solutions that advance health and equity, leveraging the power of geospatial climate and environmental datasets.
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee (EC) is the primary mechanism for ensuring communication and integration across Cores and institutions and enables the REACH Center to operate in a coordinated and strategic manner. The EC is composed of the Core Directors, Co-Directors (including Administrative Core Co-Directors who serve as liaisons to the other Cores), and representatives of each of the collaborating institutions.
Internal Advisory Board
The Internal Advisory Board (IAB) provides strategic and organizational guidance to the EC from the perspective of institutional growth and development. IAB members include senior leaders from each of the collaborating institutions, ensuring institutional commitment to the Center.
External Advisory Board
The External Advisory Board contributes diverse perspectives on Center development, operations, and future directions, considering changes in the field overall (e.g., scientific advances), policy priorities at multiple spatial scales (international, national, local), and how the climate and health intersection is being addressed at other academic and civil society institutions. The EAB consists of distinguished scientists and leaders in the fields of environmental justice, public health, and data science.
