REACH Center Membership

The REACH Center provides different types of membership investigators, students and community members interested in climate and health research


Membership Types

Investigator

Investigator membership is available to faculty and research scientists that hold a terminal doctoral degree, have active interest in climate and health research, and are affiliated with one of the REACH Center partner institutions. Investigator benefits include:

  • Access to a network of climate/health investigators
  • Priority access to REACH Core services
  • Eligible to apply for internal REACH pilot grant opportunities
  • Announcements about external grant opportunities
  • Updates on climate/health-related research and news
  • Invitations to attend REACH Center events and core seminars

Affiliate Investigator

Affiliate Investigator membership is available to faculty, research scientists, REACH Center Visiting Scholars, and doctoral-level researchers from non-REACH partnering institutions or non-academic organizations. Affiliate Investigator benefits include:

  • Participation in a network of climate/health investigators
  • Announcements about external grant opportunities
  • Updates on climate/health-related research and news
  • Invitations to attend REACH Center events and core seminars
  • Consideration for access to REACH Core services and facilities (availability dependent)

Associate Member

Associate membership is available to post-doctoral research fellows, graduate students, and undergraduate students in the DC area who are interested in climate/health research. Associate member benefits include:

  • Announcements about external grant opportunities
  • Updates on climate/health-related research and news
  • Invitations to attend REACH Center events and core seminars
  • Invitations to tailored opportunities for students and trainees related to career development, education, and training

Community Member

Community membership is available to members of the broader community that have an interest in climate/health research, including members of community-based organizations, governmental institutions, non-governmental organizations, and others. Community member benefits include:

  • Updates on climate/health-related research and news
  • Invitations to attend REACH Center events and core seminars
